Mavé was born with the support of people close to us, who encouraged us to focus on what we love: being creative.
For a long time we watched others do it from the sidelines, until we realised we wanted to capture moments too, just in our own way.
How did the name Mavé Motion come about?
The first two letters of our names. The two of us, always together on your wedding day.
Movement. We move with the day and we're always where something is happening.
Emotion. What stays with you when the day is over.
Our name holds everything that drives us: the two of us, movement and emotion.
We don't make films.
We capture the moments in between.
No staging, no posing. We capture the day as it is.
We shoot on phones, without bulky gear. Guests soon forget we're there, and that's the point.
Every reel has its own story. We don't collect shots, we choose moments.
